FoMa Dance Company is a Hong Kong-based neo-classical ballet ensemble — a launchpad for the city's emerging talent.
Named after the Fire Horse of the Chinese zodiac, a symbol of passion, resilience, and restless energy, FoMa brings together young professional dancers and a dedicated artistic team to create original works that honour ballet's technical rigour while embracing contemporary expression.
We are preparing our inaugural production, Ignition, for 2027 — created by and for the artists of this city, with every element, from choreography to costumes, music to design, made in Hong Kong.
We are also building something bigger: a platform for the next generation of Hong Kong dancers, a home for cross-disciplinary collaboration, and a company that will carry this city's artistic voice across Asia.
